Rangoli Patterns for Diwali

This is the Art and Maths collaborative project where we created Rangoli patterns for Diwali.
Art students completed the string work and then split the work to be coloured, between art and Maths. The video is the Year 7 and 9 students completing the work in maths. The mixture we created to colour the work was flour and dry paint which we put into bottles with holes in the lid to make it easier for the students to utilise. We added small splashes of glitter to make it more decorative and more reminiscent of the Indian culture.
