The U9 Netball team ended their season well at the BGE tournament. The girls played consistently in the group stage, winning 5-1 and 6-2 against Braeburn Imani and Premier respectively. However a 4-1 loss to Braeburn Gitanga meant that we finished second in the pool but still advanced to the semi-finals. In the semi, we met Nairobi Academy in what was a very tough match. The girls played brilliantly and produced some of our best netball of the term. This was however, not quite enough as we gallantly went down 5-8.
The girls have worked very hard all season and have greatly improved both tactically and skilfully. The most valuable player from our team was Margaret Manning, who showcased a strong performance throughout the day. However, all of the girls' passion, commitment and drive should be commended.
